A Brief Overview
Miss Trans Global Philippines is an inclusive pageant which showcases the intelligence and creativity of the Filipina trans women. It is the official stage that selects the representative of the Philippines to the Miss Trans Global pageant being held annually in London, United Kingdom.
What are we looking for in a candidate to compete in the Miss Trans Global Philippines pageant?
PERSONALITY
Candidates are assessed for their charm, charisma, and likability; along with their confidence in public speaking and in their interpersonal skills which includes their ability to effectively engage with both the audience and the panel of judges.
ADVOCACY
Candidates are judged based on their passion and commitment to a social cause or platform, demonstrated through active involvement in community service and philantrophic activities, and their ability to actively articulate and advocate for their chosen platform.
INTELLIGENCE
The candidates are evaluated by their articulation and communication skills, depth of understanding in contemporary events and important national and global social issues, as well as their critical thinking and problem solving skills.
BEAUTY
Candidates are evaluated based on their physical appearance encompassing: facial features, figure, and overall attractiveness; as well as grooming: hair, make up, and personal presentation, all while demonstrating poise, confidence, and stage presence.
Miss Trans Global Philippines 2024
Pharcy Pugong is the Miss Trans Global Philippines 2024 crowned queen. She hails from Baguio City and is a fashion designer, pageant enthusiast, and trans mom.
As a trans mother, she advocates for the legal right of transgender people to be able to adopt a child without being discriminated or questioned for their gender identity. By raising her son on her own, she is proving that trans people can be parents too–responsible and nurturing
parents who are capable of supporting young people into this world.
Pharcy competed for the Miss Trans Global 2025 crown in London, United Kingdom and won the Miss Trans Global Sapphire title (2 Runner up equivalent).
